| PAST TOURNAMENTS Since the first Stunty Cup in 2007, the concept has taken off and you can now challenge for the Stunty Cup in a whole host of tournaments worldwide :) There have been a variety of winners, of course, but some coaches have really excelled with the stunty teams. Barney the Lurker has won the last two Waterbowl Stunty Cups with different teams (Goblins - 2010, Ogres - 2009), Valen has also secured stunty wins with different teams, one of those Stunty Cups being the BBGT itself! The most recent addition to the Winners' Roster is the wonderful Purplegoo who took the inaugural White Isle Bowl Stunty title over the weekend of August 21/22 in Nottingham. His goblins saw off the fearsome challenge of Diamond Joe Quimby and Pug to run away with the trophy. Waterbowl Weekender 2008 This year's Waterbowl was the biggest and best yet, with a whopping 46 coaches turning up to play. Equally impressive were the mighty 9 (yes, 9!) coaches who opted to play in the Stunty Cup, which was enjoying its first birthday. With so many coaches, it was always likely to be a close contest, and so it proved. On the last day, the lead changed hands with regularity. Mike (sann0638) started the day in the lead before handing it over to Leipziger after the end of game 5. However, Leipziger could not hold on and Don Vito slipped in for a deserved victory after all 6 games were complete. Thanks to everyone that took part! A special shout out must go to Rob (Polatbear) who took a 16 snotling line-up, plus Master Chef, and managed to beat Gorbad's khemri 1-0 and pushed the NAF president very close. If Rob ever starts using his full available TR at tournaments, he will be a threat ;) Don Vito's mighty winning TR110 line-up was: 2 Treemen (With Block), 10 Flings (2 x Diving Tackle, 2 x Sidestep), Deeproo, Puggy, Halfling Masterchef, 1 Reroll, 1 FF. Don Vito enjoys a brew and thinks back to winning the Stunty Cup... The glittering prize in all its glory! Game 07 Tritex Bowl 30 Coaches turned up to the inaugral Tritex Bowl this year, with just two stunty coaches there to uphold the honour of the little guys... The glittering prize - the limited ed Impact! THE BLOOD BOWL 12th/13th May This year's Grand Tournament at GW's HQ in Lenton saw 134 coaches battle it out to see who who's team would be crowned the winners of the prestigious Blood Bowl trophy. Rather surprisingly the trophy wasn't lifted by a stunty team but Thomas Raae Andersen's halfling team, the Mudfield Spunks, did extremely well topping the stunty charts and coming in at a very respectable 46th place overall. The Mudfield Spunks' winning lineup (TR100) was 2 treemen, Deeproot, 11 halflings, 1 RR and a Master Chef. | | Team | Coach (NAF ID) | W/D/L | TD | CAS | Pts | Rank | | Mudfield Spunks | Thomas Raae Andersen | 3/3/0 | 9 | 18 | 51 | 46 | | O | Burger Fest | Grotuk | 2/1/3 | 6 | 22 | 43 | 92 | | Da Smarteez | Igor_Tahavanale | 1/2/3 | 6 | 5 | 42 | 98 | | Pissbog Stealers | Hoomin_Erra | 3/0/3 | 6 | 15 | 38 | 106 | | Little Green Men | Chris Lewis | 2/0/4 | 7 | 10 | 38 | 109 | | Da Unlikely Ladz | FishFingers | 0/3/3 | 6 | 14 | 37 | 111 | | Mad Dog Backstabbers | Rowlf | 2/0/4 | 5 | 6 | 36 | 113 | | Crimson Moon Casuals | Rab | 2/0/4 | 4 | 11 | 34 | 122 | | O | Black Reign | Matt While | 1/1/4 | 4 | 23 | 33 | 124 | | Moot Gladiators | Peter Hopkinson | 1/1/4 | 4 | 10 | 33 | 125 | | Tin Tin Raiders | shaniepoo1 | 0/2/4 | 2 | 23 | 28 | 131 | | Little Chefs | Ryan | 0/1/5 | 2 | 23 | 15 | 133 |

THE MONKEY BOWL March 31st/April 1st, Hartlepool The Stunty Cup at Monkeybowl II was won by Geoff Porritt's halfling team "Podfrey's Pint-sized Piccolo Players", with Rob Higham's experimental saurus-less lizardman team "Stun-T-Rex" taking the Wooden Spoon. THE WATERBOWL WEEKENDER 17th/18th February 2007 The Waterbowl Weekender in Manchester hosted the inaugral Stunty Cup on the 17th and 18th of February 2007. The format was six games at TR110 with each team taking six pre-selected skills that stayed in play for the entire tournament. Star Players were allowed for all races. Of the 32 coaches playing there were 6 stunty coaches who placed 12th, 14th, 24th, 26th, 29th, and 32nd. Spencer the Rover (left), whose Goblin team, 'Small and Twatty', were making their tournament debut won the Stunty Cup, closely followed by Polarbear's Halflings. Hoomin managed to pick up the wooden spoon after six straight defeats (could his seven-star line-up have something to do with that?) but did manage to come close to getting most casualties for the whole tournament! And Leipziger picked up the 'Couldn't score in a brothel' award for least touchdowns... Spencer the Rover's winning roster was: 2 Trolls (with block); 4 Goblins (with sidestep); 6 Goblins; 1 Chainsaw; 1 Pogo; 1 Ball and chain; 1 Bomber; 3 Rerolls; Fan Factor 5. | |
