STUNTY SLAM 2009 - 20/06/09 Ashton-under-Lyne
The Stunty Slam 2009 will take place on the 20th June in Ashton-under-Lyne (very close to Manchester). The event will, once again, be a
4 game , 1 day event and, like last year, there will be some fun twists to keep the games interesting :) The lovely guys at Roundabout Toys (

As the owner, Dave, is not charging us for use of his floor space, we are able to keep prices down to just £6!

NO STAR PLAYERS AND NO INDUCEMENTS
Teams can take 2 normal skills and 2 doubles skills (normal skills can be taken instead of a doubles skill)
Skills can only be allocated to stunty players
A maximum of 1 skill can be given to a player (i.e. there is no skill stacking)
Skills are all allocated before game 1.
Eligible teams are:
Goblin
Halfling
Ogre
All skink + Krox (i.e. no Sauri)
Underworld, but only if they are all goblin + troll (i.e. no Skaven).

2008
Given the increasing popularity of the Stunty Cup within blood bowl tournaments, we thought it was about time that the little guys of blood bowl had a showcase of their own. One day when the action would be all stunty! That day was Saturday July 12th 2008. The venue was the Vine Inn in Manchester. The result was a great day of stunty competition played out over 4 games.
The rule set was:
TR110
Star players allowed (As many as you could afford!)
No inducements (aside from the Master Chef for the flings)
Scoring:
4 pts win
2 pts draw
0 pts loss
Bonus available for 3+ TDs or 3+ Cas
After a tense day of competition, Geoff (Lucifer/Podfrey) took the title with his flings vs Ginger Ninja's goblins in game 4 (both sides went into game 4 with 3 wins from 3). Geoff's victory was all the more impressive as he had started the day with the hangover from hell and only just made it into town!
